We had a great experience here. We weren’t sure if it was more of a takeaway place as there wasn’t ever such a lot of ambience, however, we were wrong. The chef came out immediately to talk us through our choices and was really friendly and informative. We ordered loads and absolutely loved it. The mutton curry was incredible and the mutton chettinadu (sorry if that’s spelt wrong it’s from memory) we also ordered a chicken tikka masala which I can’t really comment on as I’m not a fan of it as a dish but it wasn’t bright red with food colouring. Everything was so reasonably priced and the service was great. We only wish we lived nearby (we were in the area for work) as my husband particularly didn’t feel he’d had such a nice curry since a holiday in India.

I have been coming here for a many years but I took my father recently here who is visiting from India. The first impression was WOW. Owner has changed This place place to another level. Ambience has changed for good but management and taste remain same which was always appreciated.Amazing food ambience, good hygiene, fast service and plentiful portion. Keep coming for more and more. Dad loved the chutneys as they were fresh and of quality standard. Great food filled with home feelings.

Oh Lovely, their taste was so yummy, it was so happened to visit this restaurant first time on Wwdnesday and to my luck their wednesday special for lunch was Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani. I ordered one had it, very tasty, perfect original Hyderabad Moghul Biryani. Ideally located near Tolworth Tower in Surbiton, UK, They have nice seating arrangements, lovely and pleasing staffs. I recommend this place.

This is the best Indian food I have tasted in London in a long time. You can sense the smell of fresh spices, which have a really fresh taste and great flavours. I rarely offer 5 stars to any restaurant, but they fully deserve it. The dinner was amazing, and they were quite flexible with my specific requests. The service was nice and helpful, the dishes were excellent, and the restaurant had a wonderful and relaxing ambiance with everything being freshly prepared.

Spice house restaurant has become one of my favourite one in recent times. The best Indian cuisine that people must try,one of the favourite food I loved is the chicken fried rice the taste and quantity of the food was extra ordinary the best ever tried fried rice in Uk. Onion pakoda out of the world the crispness that comes out for every bite loved it. I would recommend people to try their foods and sure you would come out with great satisfaction. Price wise also very nominal and quantity of one parcel worth 2 people could share it. Please do visit and don’t miss it

We went for the first since the new administration took over Spice House and were quite happy with everything. We ordered Veg Fried Rice and Chicken Fried Rice. We asked for spicy food so the chef made sure to add 1000 green chilies! But surprisingly, the taste was great. Me and my wife both loved the food and the quantity was great too. It is not crowded anymore and thus a good place to have lunch for a good price, taste and quantity.

We had a takeaway from here last night and cannot recommend it enough; definitely the best Indian takeaway we have ever had! It’s very rare to find a proper Indian that delivers in this area and were blown away by the taste, portion size and friendliness of their staff. This is definitely now our first choice when we want a curry and can’t wait to order again. Thank you so much Spice House!!
